Includes all materials and firing. ### Handbuilding by the Coast 2.5 hours · $95 per person Shape pieces by hand with pinching, coils and slabs, no wheel needed. Includes all materials and firing. ## How a workshop goes From booking a seat to holding your fired piece. 1 ### Choose and book Pick wheel throwing or handbuilding, then call or email us to book your seat. 2 ### Arrive at the studio Come to our San Diego studio. Clay and tools are set out at your place. 3 ### Make with your hands We show each step first, then you work at your own pace with help close by. 4 ### Drying and firing Your pieces stay with us to dry and go through the kiln. No experience needed. Beginners are welcome at both workshops. Nothing to bring. Materials and firing are part of the price. Wear clothes you don't mind getting clay on. Short nails make working on the wheel easier. Come a few minutes early so you can settle in before you start. ## Questions before you buy or book **Do I need any pottery experience?** No. Both workshops are open to beginners, and we show each step before you try it. **How do I book a workshop?** Call us on (555) 555-0100 or email hello@yourdomain.com and tell us which workshop you would like. We will reply with the next steps. **Can I book a workshop for a group?** Get in touch with how many people you have and which workshop you have in mind. We will tell you what we can arrange. **What will I take home from a workshop?** That depends on what you make and how it comes through the kiln. Ask us when you book and we will tell you what to expect. **How do I care for my pieces?** Care depends on the clay and the glaze of each piece.
